How to configure the notification for the approvers if the ticket is resolved?

Hi,

Good day to all, I am new to the ITSM, and here I would like to learn how to set up notifications for the approvers in the event of ticket resolution.

Please guide me, TIA.

Hi @Ramesh Gunasekaran ,

I think you can accomplish this with an automation rule that is triggered when a ticket is resolved. You can then add a "Send Email" action that sends an email to the approvers.

Great, Thanks a ton four your valuable suggestion, i will try that and revert to you asap.

But i have a doubt in that, is that all approvers will get notified or the the person who approved the ticket notified?

i have to configure as that the particlurar HOD of the user will get notified once the ticket is resolved.

TIA.

I think this solution will send an email to all approvers in the list (not only the person who approved).

Sending an email to only the person(s) who actually approved, will probably require the use of smart values.
