Hey a former colleague is no longer with our firm but his name is still showing up everything a workflow status changes.

"John changed an issue from Waiting for support to Waiting for customer"

1. How do I change this?

2. Can this be changed to a generic service account of some sorts? Ideally we wouldn't want this automated status update to be associated to a name.

@Aldy Cheung

You'll want to check the automations configured for your project.

Project Settings --> Automations

It sounds like the Rule Actor is set to John. I would update it to the Automation for Jira user instead.

@Aldy Cheung

Do you have a plugin installed on your site?

I would recommend looking at the post function scripts or options in those workflows where you are seeing the updates and changing the username to the generic one

Make sure to keep the permissions as John user

Also, suspend John User to further block any actions you are seeing. If its important change the post functions and then suspend the user

Let me know if you have any queries

Thanks
