I have been looking the connect documentation and I can't find a way to add a jql function to the advanced search bar in jira.

Is there some kind of module that can be added in the atlassian-connect.json file?

Thank you very much.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I'm afraid there is none - there's a good story about it from 2019 that still stands true at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Custom-JQL-function-plugin-for-Jira-Cloud/qaq-p/995602

Even Scriptrunner can't do it, we had to build a separate search module so that we could enable the JQL functions we wanted to provide.
