How to add a currency sign in Jira Assets

Hi

We have a field within an Asset for Price, whilst we have the value, is there a way to enter the currency sign ie £  , $ to the price ?

You can set it up with the below steps:

1. Ensure your attribute is a Float type.

2. Go into the attribute settings and add a suffix - £, $ etc

3. Enter a value into the attribute and the sign will be added at the end

I've not found a way to add it as a prefix though!

If you are having a JSM team-managed project, you can add the dedicated currency field. Reference: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-63888

Rather, it would need to be a text field.
