Is it possible to remove uploaded Request Type icons in JSM? I uploaded duplicates and would like to remove one but can't seem to figure out where to do that.
I don't have an answer for this, but the same question, as I also uploaded a duplicate icon (more like an uglier version of what I wanted) and need to remove it from the default avatar list.
From the looks of it, it seems to be something that is very difficult to do, or maybe can't be done?
From doing a little searching online, the closest thing I got was:
The default Request Type icon images are present inside: <JIRA_HOME>/plugins/installed-plugins/jira-servicedesk-5.12.2-REL-0001.jar. Maybe someone here can point us in a better direction or an easier way to delete the icon so that it's not used.
Hello @Tanner Jenson
The Request type must have request name, icon and issue type mapped. You can refer this link - Add, remove, or modify a request type in the portal | Success Central
But whenever you create a request type, there is a icon which gets added, maybe you could change your current icon to this one.
To edit the icon of your Request Type just follow these steps:
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Sharu

I dont think that was the meaning behind the question. I think OP want to know whether the already uploaded icons can be deleted again because not used for example. In that case @Tanner Jenson , no :-).
