How to Recover Deactivated Jira Account after recovery window has elapsed?

I was using the Jira Free plan for my site businessintelcilans.atlassian.net to manage important projects and maintain all related tasks and tickets.

On 20 July 2026, I received an email stating that my Jira site was being deactivated due to an extended period of inactivity. The email mentioned that the site would be deactivated and that all associated data would be permanently deleted after a certain period. 

Unfortunately, I became aware of the deactivation only after the reactivation window had already expired. As a result, I am currently unable to access my Jira site, and I am concerned about losing all of my project data, issues, and tickets.

These projects contain important historical information that I would like to recover.

Because this involves specific billing adjustments or manual site restoration, The Atlassian Billing and Licensing team will need to handle this.

 - To get this resolved, please follow these steps to create a support ticket:

- Open a browser in Incognito/Private mode (this is important to ensure you aren't automatically logged into the suspended account).

- Go to the Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing, & Licensing | Atlassian.

- Under How can we help you?, select Quotes and Plan Changes.

- Under Choose a topic, select Change cloud plan.

- Fill in the details.

- If the message box isn't visible, click on “Need more help?” to make the description field and submit button appear.
