Hi all,

I want to have knowledge articles in our portal that logged in user (non atlassian) can see the article. Also interested for any/all.

Maybe its just a misunderstanding but it tells me to go to "Products" in "Settings" to make it available under the knowledge article area.

But I don't see products in either JSM or Confluence? Not to mention the specific setting to change. Would love any advice, thanks!

I think this section of this article points you to the right area

To configure knowledge base permissions, select Settings and then Products.

Gear > Jira Apps > Jira Service Management > Knowledge Base Permissions

  1. Under Jira Service Management, select Knowledge base permissions.

  2. Choose your desired settings:

All logged-in users - Turn on this option if you want project admins to make articles visible only to logged-in users of service projects on your site or help center.

Anyone - Turn on this option if you want project admins to have the flexibility of making articles in a space publicly accessible.

When you make your content available to anyone, it means anyone on the internet. This permission can’t accommodate sharing with some anonymous people and not others. It’s all or nothing.

update: looks like some menu labels have changed including screenshot below of where I found it. Gear > Jira Apps > Jira Service Management > Knowledge Base Permissions
