How can I change the date from American to Australian format?

David Johnston-Bell

Hi,

Our Jira forms defaults dates to the American way (eg "9/8/2022", when it should read "8/9/2022" (ie 8 sept).

I've made some changes in settings/general config/advanced settings and made the change, as well as settings/look and feel

I've also checked the "Use ISO8601"

None of the forms are reflecting these changes.

David

Hi @David Johnston-Bell

Go to System-> General Configuration-> Advanced Setting

In that Jira.date.time.picker.java.format and change it

I tried that, but we discovered that we had to change language from US English to UK English

Yes, I found I had to set my own profile language from US English to UK English to fix this, I guess it shows depending on your own personal language

As per the instructions on this page: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/manage-your-language-preferences/
