How I can configure a Category and Subcategory which are dependent to each other

Dear Jira Community,

How I can managed to create 2 fields Category and Subcategory which will be dependent to each other. 

Example: 

Category is Network which will be dependent on below subcategory

Firewall, LAN , WAN 

Which will not be visible if I choose other Category like Software

Please advise

Hi Kristine - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You should create a custom field of Select List (cascading). Then you should be able to do what you want.
