Help removing custom fields from work item screen main panel

I'm having trouble removing some custom fields from the main section of our tasks (no request type associated). It seems like it might be just the default for the field type (can't recall the name but it's the WYSIWYG text type).

All the other custom fields appear in the side panel under "More fields" which is fine but I can't seem to get these 4 to not show in the main panel, under the Description field.

The only thing I can find that makes sense is that, apart from the default Description field, these are the only fields of this type that we've added and they all show up like this.

Appreciate any help or advice.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

If those are Multi-line text fields, which they do appear to be, they cannot be moved out of the Description Fields section and into the Context Fields section of the screen Layout.

There was a change request about this, but it was closed as Won't Fix.

Hey, yes that is what they are.

Disappointing but good to know.
I know there was another request that I was subscribed to for just generally better configuration of fields for issues with no request type. Hopefully that one gets up.
