Git and Github for Jira Cloud

Hi. 

The Github for Jira app looks promising, but I wanted to ask the Community about it

I work on a help documentation team, and I’m looking for a way to push help topics and content to our Jira Service Mgmt Cloud.

1. We use MadCap Flare as a help authoring tool (https://www.madcapsoftware.com).
2. Our Source Control and content mgmt. system (and website server) is called MadCap Central.
3. Git, I believe, it what integrates Flare with Central to create the repos, commits, and synchronization and branching.

Can I use the Github for Jira app, to push help content from MadCap Flare and Central to our Jira Service Mgmt Cloud?  I want to automatically populate our Jira knowledge base with help content we already have in MadCap Central and Flare.

This is the solution I’m needing. All advice would be so appreciated!
