I received a request from my leadership to make the object graph show accurate information and I'm not sure that it's possible to do what I'm being asked.
Using the IT Asset Management template as an example, we have a relationship between Hardware Models and Laptops. If I open the Object Graph for a Model object, it shows all Laptops that are linked to this model.
However, over time the status for hardware changes. What happens when the Laptop's Asset Status attribute is changed from In Use to Retired? If I look at the object graph, it still shows a link between these two objects. If we only wanted to see a graph of Laptops that were In Use, I'm not seeing a way of filtering out the others.
Hi @Monty
The status attribute would not remove the relationship between the objects. If you don't want to them to be related you will have to remove the object reference.
You would have to create a report to ensure that you only show certain models with laptops that are in a specific status.

Fabian
