Export filters in excel format and send them by mail

Hello,

I need to periodically export the content of a filter to excel format and have it sent by mail.

I have tried the subscription option but the information format does not work for us, it must be in excel.

I have read about third party applications and have tried the plugin for excel. It works very well but it doesn't work for us because we need to collect the data at a certain date and time every month, and this must be automatic.

It occurs to me to send it by mail from an automation, but I have also read about this and I think it is not possible.

Is there an application (if it were free, better XD) that complies with what is indicated? We have more than 200 agents and the payment would not make much sense

Hi @Nicolas Grossi 

They have already answered me from atlassian and it is not a bug, they tell me that "Mail subscriptions have this limitation in capability"

In short, the excel plugin does not allow scheduling updates, but the google sheets plugin does.

I've tried it and it works perfectly.

Among others, it does what you look for: it can peridocally execute a saved filter (or JQL search) and export the issues to Excel and email the resulted XLSX file like this:
