Enable Quickstart side bar or Personal Coach

Hello there,

I am working on setting up new Jira Service Management Cloud site, I have been using the 'Quickstart' side bar from the right of the screen to follow the config steps. It was helpful.

I hit 'exit coach' temporarily, hoping to re-enable it and it has disappeared (seemingly) forever.

I had done this before and turned it back on from the 'Profile / Avatar' pic / settings menu, but that option is no longer there.

I have tried personal settings, profile settings, etc., but couldn't find it again. I tried using different browsers, different usernames, closed and restarted system/browser, etc.. etc. - none worked so far.

If anyone has any ideas, as to how to re-enable the 'Quickstart side bar', it will be much appreciated.

Hi @FLM Techsupport , it used to be that there was a link to reenable this by clicking on your avatar. However, I checked two different instances, and neither present that link. It could be that it's been removed or maybe moved. Feeling better input here, I would suggest reaching out to Atlassian support to get an update on this. If you do, so, please update the post here with what you find out.

Hi Jack,

I could not connect with Atlassian support because I am using a free plan, but I figured a way to get the 'Quickstart' bar back.

When I logged into Opsgenie, I noticed the 'Quickstart guide' option was available under my profile, I enabled it and switched Project...and there it was.
