Emails for new comments

Is there any chance that if I'm the Reporter & the Assignee of an incident request, I'm not getting emails for new comments?

Yes, there is - @rtamam.

This all depends on the notification settings in both your project as in your personal notification preferences.

Besides checking the overall notification configuration in your project, have a look at your personal notification settings, from the cog icon near the top right of your screen:
