Elements Connect only brings value when modifying

Hello all.

I'm having an issue with the elements connect app where the different fields are only filled when modifying a ticket, this means, the original fields are empty but once I manually click on modify the values are updated correctly.

Is there any way to ensure the fields are correctly updated once the ticket is created?

Please note that the script is working correctly, as the fields are being matched and filled out but only when the creation of the ticket is manual.

Hi!

You might need to add a post function into your Create transition to populate the value of the corresponding Elements Connect field. You can find the action in the Create transition > Post functions > Add post functions > Elements Connect: Set a field value > Then choose the fields you want to populate the values for.

Alternatively you can also use Automation for Jira, with the action Elements Connect: Set a field value
