Hello Jira Community,
I am looking for a way to create a dynamic form in Jira where customers can add additional rows as needed, but the number of columns remains fixed. Ideally, this form should allow users to input multiple entries without modifying the predefined structure of the table.
Is there a built-in feature or an add-on that supports this functionality? Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your insights!
Hello @Kashif Rahman
I believe that native Jira doesn't support the functionality for creating dynamic forms. However, if you're interested in Marketplace add-ons, check out Extension for Jira Service Management
This app offers two features that could be useful in your case: Dynamic Forms and Bundled Fields.
You can create a Bundled Field, which allows you to collect more data. Then, you can add that Bundled Field as a Dynamic Field, ensuring it is displayed only when the conditions set in the configuration are met.
Here is a link to a demo on creating a Bundled Field , and a guide on how to add a Dynamic Field
I'm also including a link to the Extension for JSM Support Center , where you can find the app's demo, an interactive tutorial, and additional resources—all in one place 🚀
Just to clarify, I work at the company that develops this app🚀
