Drop-down Menu & Dynamically Linking Approvers

Hey Atlassian Community,

 

My VP wants me to explore whether it is possible to create a specific request type for 1Password team vault access in which there will be a drop-down menu for users to select which 1Password team vault they are requesting access to and have that drop-down list selection correspond with specific approver workflow for the particular vault they want to access. Is such a thing possible? We are currently using the default issue type, [System] Service request with approvals, for our approval workflows, no third-party Atlassian apps.

 

Basically we don't want to create a request type for each 1Password team vault but we do want to link specific approvers to specific requested team vaults from within the request, to have it occur dynamically. Tie vault requests to approver workflows with owners of each vault as approvers.

 

So for example, Joe Blow wants access to the Commerce team vault so he selects the request type, "Request Access to 1Password Team Vault" and then is presented with a transition screen asking him to select the vault from a dropdown menu. He selects Commerce and then that selection dynamically links the commerce vault owner as the approver of this workflow.

 

Please let me know if such is possible and perhaps link any relevant docs that illustrate how I would create such a dynamic approval workflow and the corresponding drop-down menu within a request type!

I guess there is no way to accomplish this (without using expensive third party apps/addons)? I want to avoid having to make 10+ customer request types, one for each unique team vault (and vault owner/approver) had having the portal get messy (too many request types).
