Does changing SLA goals recalculate all issues?

Terry Dance

We will be changing the JQL in some goals, and adding in new goals for our SLAs. When we go to add a new goal we get this,

SLA edits may take time to take effect

There are XXXXXX issues in this service project. Recalculating SLAs for this many issues can take a long time (up to a few days sometimes), during which time SLAs and reports may not be accurate.

Does this mean that SLAs would get recalculated on resolved/closed tickets?

No, the recalculation of SLAs only happens on tickets that have an active SLA, it will not be recalculated on any resolved/closed tickets.
