When an automation rule is created, triggered by an event that normally would send a notification, does the automation override the notification?
In principle, if comments are left on a ticket, a number of people get notification: assignee, reporter, watchers, etc...
Is it possible that if I create an automation rule triggered by someone leaving a comment on that ticket, that it will override the notifications?
Someone else in my organization has created a number of automation rules (some related to comments being added) and now I have some people saying that, in some cases, they are not being notified by email when comments are left on a ticket.
Is this just a coincidence or can automation rules override notifications?
