I created a form for IT support but every time i try to open it from a users account it ask me to log in, is there a way to use it without the need to log in, and does it require a Jira license?

@marijus grybauskas

Use the below approach

  • Convert your project to Service Management Project
  • Set Customer Permissions to anyone
  • Share the customer portal URL

Thanks

Hi @marijus grybauskas

Welcome to the community.

Are you referring to a from used on a request type in JSM.

You can access a JSM project without logging in, see this KB; https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/blog/2017/04/introducing-the-login-free-portal-for-jira-service-desk-cloud

Hi @marijus grybauskas

You need to link this form to a request type.

The request type is visible on the portal and the portal can be accessed without logging on.

A form made in a JSM project can only be used when linked to a Request Type, a form can't be used directly via a URL

I've linked it to get IT help.

Im trying to find a solution to link this form from our website directly, and without the need to sing in

Hi @marijus grybauskas

This can't be done.

This is not how the product works.

Then you need to link the url from to the request from your website and change the JSM access

The url would be like: https://anonymised.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/2/create/3

Where the number 1 ,2 and 3 in the url corresponds to the id of the JSM portal, a portal group (if used) and the id of the request type

You can access a JSM project without logging in, see this KB;
