Hello Everyone!
I would like everyone's thought on how we can add a display message on the customer portal for a date field.
while creating an issue from customer portal if the reporter is selecting the start date
Starting Date = today
message should be displayed to ask the reporter to select a date 7 days after today's date.
appreciate everyone's thoughts.

You just need to add the help-text to your Request Type (Request view) for the specific field, so it will display the text underneath the field in the portal form UI.

Additionally you could create an automation which forwards the date to 7 days after today, if they haven’t set or set it wrongly. You can inform the user about it with a comment. In this way you have the hint and an enforcement.
