Customer Portal: Request Filters

Hello, 

We're getting feedback from our clients that it's frustrating not being able to see all requests upon logging into their portal. 

Is there a way we can pre-set the requests to display open and closed requests in the portal?

Hi @Yasmine 

Unfortunately, you cannot configure a default view or filter as you described. There is a feature request at the Atlassian public issue tracker where you can vote on and add yourself as a watcher to receive notifications from now on.

Alternatively, you can bookmark the URL. Not pretty, but it does the job. You could have something like:

  • <YOUR_SITE>/servicedesk/customer/user/requests?page=1&reporter=all&statuses=open&statuses=closed

By the way, you can have a look at the marketplace, where you can find apps that allow you to customize your portal.

Hi @Ivan Lima 

Thank you for that. It's a bummer that this feature doesn't exist. Our clients mostly use mobile to access the portal so bookmarks won't be a helpful workaround. 

I'll check out some apps, great idea thank you!

You can check out the functionality of our app My Requests Extension for JSM - such as customizing the Requests page and saving filters. Maybe it'll be helpful for you.
