×Hello community
I created a custom field ("Oficial" - a user pick field) and put it in the service request "Consultas" in the work item view
Not a problem, but...
That same field, I can only add it in a 2nd service request (Documento(s) entregable(s)) BUT ONLY IN THE Request form
When I try to. add that field "Oficial" in the work item view of the Svc. Request ir doesn't find it, it displays the message We couldn’t find a match for your search
How can I fix this?
Are both service request type, using the same work item type and are they using the same screens?
So check :
Hello Marc thanks
Work item types are the same
The screens related has that field
the filed is present in the work item type, in the "Field configuration"

I missed this on you first screenshot the field message is, it's already on the work item view,
Whay if you open an issue with the request type (Documento(s) entregable(s)) and then press the 3 dots in the issue and choose find my field?

Not clean but as I could not with orthodox methods proposed by you and other users I did with some nonsense trial and error.... Jira Style I call it LOL

Hello @Sebastian Santoyo
Looking at your configuration, it occurs to me that you might have the 'Oficial' field configured in a different context that doesn’t match the project and the work item. Could you check the field’s configuration in its contexts?

Hi All I found a Dirty workaround to fix this.
1. Field not appearing in the Work Item View
2. Adding (and saving) that field in the Request form
3. Now the field appears in the Work Item View, I add it and there appears the warning
Some fields will be removed from the request form
Adding fields to the work item view will remove any already in the request form and make them available for agents on the work item only.
Ugly workaround in fact. Something I dislike about Jira SM. You Often solve with nonsense trial an error rather than clean, logica, user friendly and orthodox solutions.
