Hi everyone,
I need to delete unwanted attached file in some the tickets in Jira Service Management.
As an agent I just can download this file.
Is there a way to delete this?
Thank you.
Jader
Permission scheme attached to project define who can delete all attachments from tickets. Based on your description - you are not allowed to delete attachments (not sure if you are not allowed at all or you are not allowed to delete other users attachments because you didn't clarify it). Contact with jira admin to clarify it and change if it is needed.
Regards,
Seba
Hello @Jader Peixoto Volkmer
It depends on permissions and where the file was originally added.
Let your Admin check project settings to ensure you have "Delete own attachments" or "Delete all attachments" enabled.
If permissions look good, keep in mind that files uploaded via a comment or description field usually can't be removed from the main attachment panel, you have to edit or delete them directly from that original comment or field instead.

I am the Jira Admin, and that is my point.
Checking que space permissions scheme I have the permisions needed to perform this operation:
Where "Excluir todos os anexos" = Delete all attachments"
So, as an Admin I have the permission to delete attachments on this space. But when I hover over the attachment:
There is no bin icon to allow me to delete the attachment.
What could be going wrong?

Hello @Jader Peixoto Volkmer
Please ask your admin check the project space permissions and ensure that your role has been assigned the "Delete own attachments" or "Delete all attachments" permission under the Attachments Permissions section.

Thanks @Gunjan Kumar ,

Tks.
