We use Jira Service Management for all our internal/external support queries and use the clone tool for any support requests that require development work from the respective product teams these projects leverage Jira Team Managed Projects.
Is there a way when cloning we can also copy the 'Organization' field that is a system field for Jira Service Managed projects to copy over to the respective team managed project?
Hello @Luay Salman
If you want to easily managed your clone needs between projects as well as copying the Organizations field, I suggest using our Copy & Sync app.
You can copy and synchronize any issues (from EPIC to subtasks) from any type of projects to company or team-managed projects. Here is an example of how to escalate tickets from your support team to development team.
You can also take a look at our documentation and try our app for free!
Glad to help you with that if needed, let me know.
Regards
Hi @Luay Salman
Perhaps this would be possible with this https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-20905, which leads to this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Cloud-Admins-articles/Announcing-the-ability-to-re-use-global-custom-fields-in-team/ba-p/2209113
But long story sort, the above is about custom fields, and possibly this could mean organization as well.

I will watch that feature thank you currently the 'Organization' field is a system field provided by JIRA Service Management that allows us to create Organizations for our clients so they can only see issues raised by their firm.

@Luay Salman true, that Orgs are a system field. But on Jira cloud it is found under custom fields. So that's why I told you that perhaps the above issue could relate with Orgs field as well.
