Copy Assets from live production project to sandbox project

Hi,

I need to copy Assets from my live Cloud Jira Service Management project to a new Sandbox project I have, there are a lot to copy and I can't see a way of doing this, I have search the documentation and web with no luck.

Hi @Julian Haines 

Currently the only option is to export your objects beneath an objecttype and import them in the sandbox.

Or look at 3rd party solutions on the marketplace.

Not a great answer, but we do this by having an API call that pulls out all the data and saves it into a CSV regularly. This also helps us keep a backup/copy when bulk changes happen.

Its this CSV that we pull from production that we upload into Sandbox.

I'm not sure if our team has looked at it yet, but I have also heard of users checking out Data Manager in the hopes this will help with this in the future: https://support.atlassian.com/assets/docs/what-is-data-manager/
