Hi all,
I've set up a Team member in our Service Desk so he can work tickets, and I've set him up in Tempo. The problem seems to be that I'm not sure how to connect his Jira user profile to his Tempo account, so he can log time on tickets. Is there a step I'm missing? Can someone explain to me how to connect his Jira to Tempo?
Thank you!
Rebecca Wiley
Hi @Fabian Lim ,
From your screenshot, it looks like the user does not have the "Work on issue" permission for this project.
Can you please confirm that the affected user has the "Tempo Timesheets Access" permission (https://help.tempo.io/cloud/en/tempo-timesheets/permissions-in-tempo/global-permissions.html)
and if he can log work on this issue in Tempo, My Work.
You might also want to check this permission with the JIRA permission helper (JIRA Settings, System, Permission helper), and see if there is any conflict with JIRA Service Management permissions.
In case he has Tempo Timesheets access and the "Work on Issue" permission for the project, can you please create a ticket in our Tempo support system so we can better investigate this (https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/6).
Best regards,

Hi @Rebecca Wiley,
I would first check the permissions: https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THC/pages/172490990/Permissions+-+Tempo+Cloud
Then check that he is part of the team: https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THC/pages/136085540/Adding+Members+to+Teams+-+Tempo+Cloud

Hi Fabian,
Thank you for your response. I did check, and he is added to the team, and everyone on the team has the same permissions. Why is he not able to see Tempo as a choice in this pulldown?
