Cloud or Server Backup issue with Free JIRA JSM cloud instance

Hi Community,

We have just tried to create a JSM free instance and tried to copy config from our Production- Standard instance for testing/ sandbox purposes. While trying to restore, it asked us to do a backup of new Free instance. We tried the backup ( vanilla instance with not much data at all.) but were continuously receiving below error. Please advise if we have a solution to do backup and then restore from JSM Prod (Standard) config backup file which we have locally downloaded.

Hi @Krishna Prasad ,

You are indeed prompted to backup first because the system wants to be sure that if you restore by accident you always have a point to go back to.

The error is unfortunately very non descriptive and only Atlassian engineers can see in the logs what's going on.

I'll escalate this question to them so they can have a look.
