Clarification on Licensing Charges for Jira Marketplace Add-ons

Hi team,

Hope you all are doing good.

I would like to understand if, when we subscribe to an addon in the Jira Marketplace, the question 'Number of users in your Atlassian app instance' refers to the number of agents I use in Jira?

In this case, would I be charged for the total number of licenses in my tenant, or can I select the number of users who can use this addon/plugin?

Based on my experience and understanding that for JSM licenses are referring the licenses that you have purchased.  JSM licenses are targeted for Agents and not customers for your site.

As regarding for add-on pricing, it is for the total number of JSM licenses that you purchased for your site, and one cannot just purchase a subset of total number of JSM purchased licenses.

Example -

You have 100 JSM licenses, then you have to paid the price for the entire 100 licenses.  You cannot just purchase the a subset of your 100 licenses (i.e. 50 JSM licenses).

I would recommend you to also check with the add-on vendor on the pricing policy if needed directly.
