Can you change the content of notifications that come to your email, when an issue is assigned?

Hello,

Can you somehow change the content of notifications that come to your email as assignee or request participant? So it isn't in format [Jira](key)Summary, but rather [Asignee](location)Summary?

Hi @Eva Foltýnová 

You can't change email notifications that are generated by Jira and are used by events (such as issue created, issue assigned etc). JSM projects have the ability to modify email notifications that are sent out to customers (project settings > customer notifications).

You can achieve this only with a combination of creating custom events and post functions within the workflow with the use of apps like JMWE.

While I would advise against it due to complexities, you could disable notifications on Assign and then leverage Automation to send emails when assignee is updated. Not something I would do but something you could try/play with. 

As Alex mentions a better option would be a different email handler - JMWE, JETI, etc.
