Can we Share a Dashboard with groups we are not member of

Hi Team,

Please let me know if we are on Jira Cloud, Can we share the dashboard with groups or project roles we are not part of.

If there is group ZYZ, but I am not member of this particular group Can I add/Share the group to dashboard created by me.

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When it comes to sharing a dashboard, currently, it’s only possible to share with groups and roles that you are part of. 

So, for example, if you are a member of the group jira-servicedesk-users, you can share the dashboard only with this group. Also, if you part of the role Service Desk Team, you can only share the dashboard with this specific role.

There is a feature request suggesting improvements for that:

• Availability to Share Dashboards with Groups where you as an Owner of the Dashboard is not part of the Groups
