Hi,
While trying to add a customer to a service management project, getting an error:
1 customer couldn't be added.
xxxx@yyy.com (You don't have permission to invite customers to this service project)
Please check the email addresses and try again.
Note: the customer above is part of my org. I had no problems inviting users outside of the org.

This issue usually happens when you have no permission to add customers. Although you have Project Admin rights, your Instance Admin may have performed changes in your roles and permissions.
I would suggest getting in touch with the Org admin for further investigation.
