Can any plugin pickup up information within a linked ticket

Wanted a free plugin or automation or built in jira feature so that the Asset has to pickup the information within the linked ticket once we link unit.

Just for a better understanding and also to test here if it’s possible using automation, we need more details about what you need.

What would be the trigger? You mentioned “once we link unit”, what would be that? 

You also mentioned assets, so just to confirm, is it related to Insight asset management?

What information do you need related to linked issues and where do you need this information to be visible (on a text custom field, description, comment)?
