Can an automation post a comment that contains an @ spec?

Have created an automation that posts a comment under specified conditions. The comment the automation posts contains an @username    Should @ work when posted by an automation? The user did not receive any notification in our test.

HI @Kel Hill. It should work. Have a look at How to mention another user so that you can check whether you're using the proper smart values. Also, you can check if users have changed their personal settings to stop receiving email updates for issue activity when someone mentions them.

In addition to what Ivan said, you should check that:

• The user has turned on personal notifications
• The user receives comments from others
