Can JIRA access levels be more controlled?

Can JIRA access levels for Slack integration be further restricted than what is shown here?  Will there be a way to more granularly control the various access settings?

Hi @Kevin Walsh welcome to the community,

I'm not an expert on this but after installing the app further connection is still needed between Jira projects and the Slack channel it's connected to which requires further manual setup. I don't think it will function correctly without those permissions listed but it also won't be in any channels you don't set it up in. 

In the article it does state "The integration requires all permissions to function correctly, and partial permissions are not acceptable."

Also this app is for Jira Cloud, JSM will use the Assist app.
