Can I automate status change after a form is submitted?

I have a request and issue type I've created with a custom workflow and statuses.

One status is waiting on a customer to fill a form and then submit for approval.

Can I trigger the transition based on this form submission?

This is what I attempted, but the automation rule failed.

@Kyle Anders -

Yes, you can.  However, can you share the error of your automation rule execution?

So we can further assist....

Hi @Kyle Anders

Please check if you have two same statuses named "Waiting for Procursement"?

As a test, you could change to another status of this issue type's workflow.

Thanks,

YY哥

Thanks for you suggestion, while trying that I realised the issue was the automation for the previous transition not triggering.

This caused it to be unable to change the status. After changing the trigger for the first automation, it works perfectly.
