I’m evaluating CSM (Confluence Service Management) spaces but I’ve noticed that CSM forms only allow fields in a single vertical column (one under another). In JSM request forms, instead, it’s possible to build a more structured layout (e.g., columns / more flexible field arrangement), which helps a lot with usability.
Is this single-column layout a known current limitation of CSM forms?
Is there any roadmap / planned enhancement to support multi-column layouts or more advanced form layout controls in CSM?
If yes, is there any approximate timeframe (even high-level)?
Because of this limitation (and also because building the CSM portal feels more cumbersome compared to JSM), I’ve currently decided to stick with JSM for production use. Any guidance or official direction would be appreciated.
Thanks!
As CSM product is still new for Atlassian, I would recommend you to also join the following community focuses on CSM product -

At this time, we are still just sticking with JSM for now on my side.
Best, Joseph
I understand that it’s still very new. At the same time, Atlassian’s marketing positions it as a mature solution, so expectations are a bit different. Personally, I’m always very open to adopting innovative initiatives.

CSM are very Brand new so I will give it some time. That's very real statement without coloring things.
