Basic and CRON expression

Hello AC,

Between cron and basic expression which one overrides the other one?

I am having a challenge since it seems basic overrides CRON expression and this is not working okay for my automation rule.

How is this thing supposed to work?

Hi @Musa Mboya , welcome to the community!

There should be no overriding when setting this up - whichever tab you have selected (basic or CRON) will be the method used within the automation rule - note how the trigger itself changes in my below screenshots.

So whatever it says in this trigger, that's the method that the automation rule should be using.
