I've created an automation so that whenever a story is created, it will automatically generate sub-tasks. I would like to know if the name of the story can be automatically flowed to the sub-task.

Ex: Create a story called "STORY ABC"

I would like all the sub-tasks to also be named "STORY ABC" + what I've defined in my summary.

Hi @Clement Kwong , welcome to the community.

Yes indeed this is a common use case. You can use smart values such as {{issue.summary}} for this. Here is a good reference for you - jira-smart-values-issues

@Jack Brickey - Thank you for your prompt response.

So to confirm, if user story name is "STORY ABC" and I want one of the sub-tasks to say BE Task - STORY ABC, do I input the below in the summary and save?

BE Task - {{issue.summary}}
