Automation: Field values identical to same field value

Hello Atlassian,

I have two custom fields (Single Choice) the fields have almost the same correspondence with the exception of 10 options.

One field is filled to customer (custom_field1) and other field is filled in backoffice (custom_field2).

I would like custom_field2 to be filled in when there is a match with custom_field1.

I am not sure that I understand the question, so I would like to ask for clarification.

Do you mean that when someone puts X into cf1, and X is a valid option with the same name for cf2, you want to set cf2 to X automatically when they commit their change?
