Hello,
I would like to set up a form within Atlassian for booking vehicles.
Bookings made via the form should automatically update a calendar within the project.
Could you recommend any free, cloud-compatible apps from the Atlassian Marketplace and suggest a plan for setting this up?
Hello @ML
The best choice for this specific purpose is to use the Booking by Appwide: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1236123/booking-assets-scheduling-for-jira-and-jsm
You can take a look at their app, see how it works, and if you do not like it, simply uninstall it.

We're not using Assets and do not want to.
The app have to be free because it is going to be used in a little project not in our entire Atlassian infrastructure.

Hi @ML
Thanks for the question.
I think this is definitely possible with Jira Service Management, and I'd recommend starting with the native capabilities before looking at Marketplace apps.
You can create a request type with a Form to capture the booking details, such as the vehicle, booking date, start time, and end time. These values can be stored in Jira custom fields, and Jira Automation can then create or update the booking issue, send notifications, and perform validation.
If you need a visual calendar to display all vehicle bookings, you can have a look at this one; I am using it in Jira Data Center.

Hello @Gor Greyan
Thank you for the answer but the app is not free and we're looking for a free one.
