We have a workflow like whenever a ticket is resolved the ticket will be automatically closed after a few days.
Issue: Sometimes in the ticket an internal comment is made saying "Please have a look at the issue" but recently if any other project ticket(Just a Kanban board company-managed project) is linked to the current Jira Service Management project and if the Kanban project ticket is resolved but not the JSM project ticket, there is an automatic internal comment in JSM ticket saying "please have a look at this issue" from admin automatically.
Can anyone help me how to stop these automatic replies?
Hi, @Likhitha
You need to check automation rules for project, where are located issues, that rigger adding of comments.
It looks like, that there is a rule, that looks for resolved issues, and automatically adds comments to issues resolved and issues linked to resolved issues.
Hi @Likhitha
Without seeing and understanding how your automation is built, it will be hard to deduce what is going on here.
For example do you have Automationssystem that trigger other automation and due to some misconfiguration, it is triggering the wrong ticket or did you specify to trigger automation if either linked ticket is also closed?
Some understanding of the automation setup would help greatly here
