Auto populating custom email id field in customer portal form.

We are trying to design a form with custom fields and we want the email id field to be auto-populated based on the customers login information. Can you please share how this can be accomplished without using script runner? Are there any add on's that can help with this?

Hi @madhuri.murali

This is a frequent request by many users, but unfortunately this is not possible without any other plugins.  The best you can do is to populate the fields after the via automation when the information is submitted.  For example, based on the customer email, you can have the customer information in the assets database, then search via email address and then populate the remaining information about the organization or other attributes to the ticket.
