Our business uses our instance of JSM to submit requests for our IT area to work on to enhance our systems. I'm looking for an app that allows me to present a list of items to a business leader to prioritize requests.
Does something like that exist? Something that is user friendly and can move items by looking at one list up and down.
Hi Joshua,
I am part of the marketplace vendor team who manages the Advanced Portal Reports for Jira Service Management.
For years now, we have supported numerous companies who want to provide self-service capabilities to their portal customers. Now we also provide the feature for portal users to edit and prioritize selected fields for planning - its included in the Advanced Edition of our app.
If you would like to see the app live, I would be more than happy to show you a demo.

if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, ranking, or conditional formatting.
This is how it looks in action:
As you can see above, JXL's interface is super simple and intuitive, and is easy to use even without a lot of in-depth Jira knowledge. As every JXL sheet is powered by either a JQL query or a saved filter, you have full control over which issues should be included for management to review.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes

Hi, @Joshua Dumas
If you are looking for a way to organize and prioritize your tickets, the best way would be to create queues in JSM organized by priority, for example. However, JSM queues are limited and do not allow you to separate filters under queues or create queues that read multiple projects. Using Mindpro Lineup you can build this structure and allow users to share subfiters among them, increasing collaboration. If you want to go further and create interactive dashboards quickly, you can try Insights. This also allows you to share the dashboards with internal users or with customers in the portal.
I hope this answers your inquiry.
Regards,
Eduardo
