After Jira Service Desk Version upgrade JSD not responding to my customized URL

After upgrading Jira Service Desk to version 8.0.2 I lost the ability access JSD through my custom URL. I now have access on the local host (i.e. https://localhost:port#)

 

Can someone share some pointers on troubleshooting the issue?

Hey there,

There are a few different things you can check in regards to the base URL failing, from configurations the Jira side to the Server configs and network configurations. 

As you noted direct connection via localhost:port works fine I would suggest double-checking the base URL configurations as covered in "Configuring the Base URL" as the first step.
