Hi,
I need to add a watcher in automation rule (Jira Service management to Jira Software). When I set a watcher in the rule after creating the task (in Service management), so it doesn´t get added. in the newly created task. When I create rule in Jira Software for to add a watcher in the newly created task (created in automation rule), it doesn´t get added too.
Please, can you help me?
Thanks
Alice
Hi @Alice Černá and welcome to the community,
I'm a little bit confused to what you want to achieve. If you don't want your users to mess around with watchers, then deprive them of the corresponding permission (project settings > permissions > manage watchers).
Or do you want to create a rule in order to ass a watcher, and then this watcher mustn't be removed from the issue?
Sorry for the confusing question. I need to set an automatic rule in jira service management that creates a task in the jira software to add a watcher to the created task at the same time.

Oh I see.
And what does the audit log says about the action "add followers"? What field type is "followers"?
