A piece of feedback on the new banners is that they seem to load at different resolutions depending on your screen settings. Below picture shows the same page help center page on three different screens and you can see the banner loads differently on each one.
If we could have a fixed resolution for the banner to prevent this issue it would be ideal.
Hi, is there any way to roll back this change? It looks really bad and feels like a clear step backward. The design appears unfinished, almost like an amateur website.
I am the IT Leader at my company and I'm currently setting up a Jira Service Management portal for a client (Free Plan). I have full site admin permissions.
A couple of years ago, I used to customize the Help Center (banner, colors, logo) quite easily. However, with the recent UI updates, I can no longer find the "Customize" button for the global Help Center.
I have already tried the following paths:
1. Jira Settings > Products > Jira Service Management > Configuration: The "Help Center" option with the customize button is missing.
2. Project Settings > Channels > Portals: I can see the portal, but the "Personalize" menu only shows options for "Manage Announcements" and "Configure Groups," not the visual identity (banner/colors).
3. Atlassian Administration > Sites > Product Settings: I can see my site, but under "Customer Service Management," the customization layout options are not appearing.
Is the ability to change the banner and theme colors still available for the Free Plan in 2026? If so, where has this setting moved to?
I've attached screenshots of my current admin menus for reference.
