Exciting! I’m also hosting a summer Atlassian Community Event with an F1 theme, so this webinar could not be more perfectly timed! 🏎️💙 Very excited to see how Atlassian Williams F1 Team uses Assets and Jira Service Management.

A few questions/topics I'd love to hear more about:

• How do you decide what belongs in Assets vs. what should stay in another engineering or operational system?

• Do you use Assets mainly for operational visibility, compliance/traceability, or decision-making?
• What was the hardest part of getting teams to trust and maintain the asset data?
• How do you model the relationship between objects without making the object schema too complex?

• How do you keep asset data accurate when parts and equipment move so quickly between factory, garage, and race track?

• Are Assets objects linked to incidents, changes, maintenance tasks or test results in JSM?

None of the questions I asked during the webinar were answered. I expected a deep dive into the object schema structure and the 'Assets Bookings' feature ... instead it was a generic marketing pitch. Very disappointed.

I have to agree with @Dave Mathijs here. Unfortunately, none of my questions were addressed either. I was hoping for a more visual, real-world presentation with examples of the object schema, relationships, automations and how Assets is actually used day to day within the team.

I had the honour of meeting Richard Sworder at Team '26, and the way he shared his knowledge and practical experience there was amazing 🧡 I was really hoping to see more of that in this webinar.

I had also planned to show a recap of the session at my summer F1-themed Community event, but now I may need to find a different webinar or recording with more practical content. A follow-up deep dive would be very welcome! 💙 🙏
