how to integrate jira cloud with alm synchronizer

i am using alm 12,01 on server and jira v6.3 on cloud. i want to create a sync between alm and jira and thereby using alm sync for the same. the trouble i am facing is my jira cloud has an sso which is enabled and uses email id as an input. alm sync wont accept sso authentication. is there any way i could get this setup working?
